Hand Knit and Felted Hat- Hudson’s Bay Stripes

Is there anything more iconically Canadian than a Hudson’s Bay blanket? Now you can wear that blankety goodness on your head. Hand knit from Canadian Dorset wool and then felted, this hat is warm and cozy and rather adorable.
The flowers was made with the wet felting technique from Merino wool. The hat covers the tips of the ears, but then flares outwards.

If you would like to bring a bit of Hudson’s Bay cheer to a winter’s day please make sure your head size is medium. (22″-22.5″)
To measure your head, take a soft tape measure and measure just above the eyebrows, above the tips of the ears and around the largest part of the back of your head. Try to not let the tape measure swoop down towards your neck. If you don’t have a soft tape measure you can use a string and then carefully measure the string. Repeat this a few times to be sure that you keep getting the same number.
