Just got a new shipment of vintage hankies. I washed them and hung them up to dry on my neighbour’s line since we don’t have one yet. The prettiest site I saw today.

Out of interest I witnessed strange washing lines on my travels recently, really high up! almost like the knickers, hankies etc had been raised like flags. I don't know whether you would want such a prominent display, but they did look magical, like your pictures here.
