I love Halifax
Yesterday I set up my wares at the Halifax Market again. I had only one goal and that was to get there alive. I’m on the road at 4:30 a.m and the thought of being pried out of bed in the middle of the night and then driving for an hour and a quarter always…
I needed that.
Just got back from visiting family in Maine. It was just what the doctor ordered- no work for 5 days, lazing around whilst drinking wine, stuffing my face with delicious food and playing in the snow. I almost feel normal. Enjoy the photos and Happy New Year.
April in Blue
I had the honour of making this blue merino felt hat for my favourite neighbour’s daughter in law. It’s the same as the yellow hat from the last post. I couldn’t have a lovelier model.
Grand Finale
Saturday was my last market of the season and it was truly grand. It felt like the finale of a fabulous fireworks display. I sold some of my all time favourite hats and it seemed like they were made only for these customers. I love to look at these photos and see the diversity of…

The following Saturday I will be at the Hubbard’s Barn from 8-12 and the following Saturday back at the Seaport Market. If anyone is feeling sympathy for me about my early rising time I do…
Our vanishing Puppy
This is what happened when I turned my back for one minute. Fear not, Doggy was rescued from six year old tyranny.
Come One Come All
You have got to check this place out. Yesterday My boys and myself trekked into Halifax to sell my wares at the new Halifax Seaport Market. It was phenomenal in every way. I sold many hats which was very exciting and fun, but just to see this place was incredible. The building is huge and…
Halifax Bound
Tomorrow morning I am heading to the new Halifax Seaport Farmers’ Market to sell my wares. Very excited to see this fabulous new building and be surrounded by all kinds of local gourmet goodies. Not quite as excited to be on the road at 4:30a.m, but for this I have recruited my most wonderful husband/chauffeur.…
