My Garden Grows
This flower is the only thing that cheers me up. The sky is perfectly blue and the sun is bright. Everything beckons me outside to soak up the warm spring air. I open the door and…… BAM! A blast of hateful cold air hits me in the face. The wind threatens to take away my…
Lisa
Almost one year ago I found the most wonderful assistant. Her name is Lisa and clearly she is as beautiful as she is talented. Here she is modeling my Olivia fascinator. You can click here to see the listing on etsy.
Spring Fever
It’s cold, but sunny here in Nova Scotia. Not quite pansy time yet. But these little beauties from my organic sewing garden can withstand the cold while singing out SPRING!!My new pansy fascinators are made from organic hemp and cotton jersey and are mounted on a wire headband, wrapped with the same jersey fabric. Beauties at the Market
One of the fun things about doing the Halifax Market is getting to see my designs on other people. These two lovely ladies are modeling two of my latest Hat Junkie Organics Designs- Traveling Mabel and my summer version of Brooke.
Introducing Hat Junkie Organics

The Girl Next Door
This is truly amazing. I have been wishing for a model for some time. It is just so hard to coordinate times. If only there was a beautiful woman next door. All I had to do was open my eyes and behold there is Hayley, beautiful mom to Thomas and Luke. Two doors down. We…
I love Halifax
Yesterday I set up my wares at the Halifax Market again. I had only one goal and that was to get there alive. I’m on the road at 4:30 a.m and the thought of being pried out of bed in the middle of the night and then driving for an hour and a quarter always…
I needed that.
Just got back from visiting family in Maine. It was just what the doctor ordered- no work for 5 days, lazing around whilst drinking wine, stuffing my face with delicious food and playing in the snow. I almost feel normal. Enjoy the photos and Happy New Year.
April in Blue
I had the honour of making this blue merino felt hat for my favourite neighbour’s daughter in law. It’s the same as the yellow hat from the last post. I couldn’t have a lovelier model.
