This hat is ready to ship and will fit a small to medium head size. There is some elasticity in the hat.

The Collette beret is hand knit and felted from Canadian Dorset wool and adorned with handmade wool felt flowers. The felted fabric creates a warm, water and wind resistant hat. I hand dyed many shades of red and knit them together to make this pretty, variegated red.

The hat can be worn at a jaunty angle or pulled down low to cover the ears.
This is a hat that will last a few lifetimes. When its time comes, the beret, made from all natural fibres, will biodegrade and become compost for your great great grandchildren’s vegetable garden.

To measure your head, take a soft tape measure and measure just above the eyebrows, above the tips of the ears and around the largest part of the back of your head. Try to not let the tape measure swoop down towards your neck. If you don’t have a soft tape measure you can use a string and then carefully measure the string. Repeat this a few times to be sure that you keep getting the same number.
