It is an eco wash yarn, meaning that the scales have been removed to make the yarn machine washable, but instead of a traditional chlorine process, the scales are removed with enzymes or salts. Eco wash is a closed loop process, so the chemicals are not released into the waste water.

The dyes used are free from heavy metals and meet oeko tex and organic standards.

This yarn is super soft and is comfortable to wear against the skin.
