This hat is ready to ship and will fit a large head size. It comes down over the ears and will look great on fuller faces.

Colette is a hand knit and felted cozy striped beret made from Canadian Wool. After knitting an oversized beret, I then mercilessly shrink it by hand. The felting creates a very thick, water and wind resistant hat. The flowers are made from wool felt.
The hat can be worn at a jaunty angle or pulled down low to cover the ears.
This is a hat that will last a few lifetimes. When its time comes, the beret, made from all natural fibres, will biodegrade and become compost for your great great grandchildren’s vegetable garden.

To measure your head, take a soft tape measure and measure just above the eyebrows, above the tips of the ears and around the largest part of the back of your head. Try to not let the tape measure swoop down towards your neck. If you don’t have a soft tape measure you can use a string and then carefully measure the string. Repeat this a few times to be sure that you keep getting the same number.
