Wheat Straw Hat with Striped Ribbon

A classic hat to add pizazz to any outfit. Why not protect yourself from the sun in style. This hat is handmade from finely braided wheat straw on an antique straw braid sewing machine. It is trimmed with a classic striped grosgrain ribbon trim.

Each hat is made to order, so please be sure to provide me with your head size. Details like the colours of the ribbon, or the width of the brim can be changed.

To measure your head, take a soft tape measure and measure just above the eyebrows, above the tips of the ears and around the largest part of the back of your head. Try to not let the tape measure swoop down towards your neck. If you don’t have a soft tape measure you can use a string and then carefully measure the string. Repeat this a few times to be sure that you keep getting the same number.
