The Laura hat is an elegant and understated classic cloche hat made from handwoven wool fabrics. This particular version is a combination of purple, burgundy and burned orange fabrics that were woven by Lunenburg weaver, Marrie Berkelaar, combined with the multi coloured, naturally dyed panels woven by me. The inside of the hat is lined with silk, so it is very soft against the forehead. This flapper style hat is meant to be worn low on the brow. The brim has very little flare, so it stays close to the ears when folded up, providing extra warmth.

It will fit a medium head size, 22″-22.5″ (56-57cm)

To measure your head, take a soft tape measure and measure just above the eyebrows, above the tips of the ears and around the largest part of the back of your head. Try to not let the tape measure swoop down towards your neck. If you don’t have a soft tape measure you can use a string and then carefully measure the string. Repeat this a few times to be sure that you keep getting the same number.
